Does anyone know of where I can get support in Australia for the a 3350 model, we have had this system installed but never got around to using it and now it shows clock inactive and it can't access any menu's.

Ideally id like support to visit our factory in NSW and set this system up for us.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Michael,

When upgrading from TopSpeed to SQL your current data in TopSpeed just gets moved into SQL.  It is possible to install the new reports, but it involves editing tables in the SQL back end which could have some dire consequences if you make a mistake.  The other thing to keep in mind is that some of your reports, e.g. payroll extracts, might have been customised for your specific use.  It's probably better to talk to the consultant and ask him/her to update your reports.

Good evening,

We have moved from Top Speed to SQL TNA 6 quite some time ago but it appears as if all our reports are all still the old reports. We do not have any graphical reports. All reports show modified in 2005 which I think is incorrect. What is the easiest way to get all our reports upgraded to the graphical reports and get rid of all old reports. We basically want to reset the reports to the default reports that come with a fresh install of TNA without losing any other settings and keeping everything else in tact.

Hi Jason,

If your clock is inactive, try the following:
  • Unplug the clock from the wall plug for about two minutes, then plug it back in.
  • If it stays inactive you will need assistance from your dealer's support department.  If the clock is on the LAN, try to ping the address. 
    a.  If you can ping the clock it might still be possible for support to investigate the problem and fix it via a remote connection.  If you can, please forward ports 22, 80 and 443 to the internet to allow support to access the clock directly.  If that is not possible, you would have to contact support to organise a remote session to a pc (with internet access) on your LAN.
    b.  If you are unable to ping the clock, check the network connections.  If that is all ok, please contact your dealer for assistance as you probably have a serious hardware problem.
If the clock is not on the LAN, please contact your dealer to arrange for repair or warranty replacement.

My CS3370 clock is inactive.  I have tried to turn machine off and on again. nothing happens also cannot extract the data from it . Does anyone have any suggestions?

When you try to open your Browse Reports window in TNA and it immediately jumps to the Report Options window, you have an unnamed report in your reports list. 

Unfortunately this report will not be visible in the Config module either, so you can only fix it if you have access to the actual data files using CS.exe or SQL Management Studio.  Open the DEFINITION table and delete any report where the Description is blank (PLEASE MAKE A BACKUP BEFORE YOU MAKE ANY CHANGES!!!).
